Well the latest news on halal issue is of course>>>> QQB Pure Ghee....
While Jakim is in the process of verifying the unidentified substance, we should juz avoid buying/consuming it first....
Please bear in mind that anything that we was-was or not sure is haram for us....
Better safe than sorry, rite....
We should know the severe consequences of consuming haram product to our ibadah, akidah and spiritual benefit.......
P.S. : HDC/Jakim or whoever that is responsible on the halal matters/cert can i suggest something to u guys?????
There is like a gazillion type of halal signs placed on drinks/foods/restaurants in Malaysia.
We as the consumers are getting pretty confuse by it.
Some put the uncertified halal sign and are really halal while others just put the sign to get the business going (to get the muslim to buy the products) but not really halal.
So is it possible for u (HDC/Jakim) to actually summon or sue them for putting halal sign that is other than the halal signs endorsed by u guys?????????
So hopefully they wouldn't dare to simply put a false halal sign on their products and we the consumer are not cheated by them.
Please be stern about this because this matter is really important to muslim.

women and aurah
guys also have their aurah to cover and conceal but im just talking about gals here...I came across this blog and are very touched with the articles(got 4 parts) and it makes me realize that i'm very bless to be born in Islam. Alhamdulillah. If otherwise, will i be able to search Islam, like she did or will i be another human being that just too focus on the world and living the world to the fullest and being naive on the real purpose of human on the earth and neglected totally on the subject of religion. Thinking of the possibility makes me shivers.
Then i continue my blog hopping and reach another blog whom the writer is a born muslim and the article make me feel ashame and remind myself of the time when i'm just as ignorant as she is. I didn't know my own religion before and i don't even read the quran's translation to understand the content and command of Allah s.w.t. Of course i read the arabic quran but i don't understand it coz i don't speak arabic. Only after reading the translation and recently watching usrah regarding tafsir Al quran from Dr. Fatimah Az-Zahra that i really feel my religion, i feel god and i see its truth.
Every now and then whenever i read anything about Islam, i feel different from before. I feel something rather than before i feel nothing. I guess then was the time when i was far from god. I'm glad to hear that one step or effort anyone make to get closer to Allah s.w.t., HE will take seven steps to get close to you. Subhanallah. I am glad that its not to late for me.
Back to the 2nd article i read, its about skinny jeans. Well skinny jeans really hung tight to your legs and it will definitely not hide anything from other people. Please we should not only cover our aurah but also keep it concealed by wearing something looser. If you can't cover your aurah the right way, please don't go to the very end of the wrong way, especially if you are wearing a hijab/tudung/headscarf. Be somewhere in a middle, do yourself a favour by maximising your step to Allah s.w.t. instead of doing worthless things like choosing skinny jeans over other looser jeans just for fashion sake, and denying doing things for Allah s.w.t. Remember that we live in this world for our akhirat the hereafter and not to enjoy our brain off in this world. Muslim should know that being close to Allah s.w.t. and heaven is sooooooooo much better than any joy and happiness in the world. Actually nothing in this world can be compared to Allah swt grace and heaven.
The common statement i heard from those who didn't feel like covering their aurah was because they are not ready and they didn't want to be insincere when covering their aurah. Astaghfirullah. How naive. It is not that they are not ready but they don't really know their religion, they don't feel Allah s.w.t. Logically speaking, how can you let yourself not concealing your aurah just due to insincerity yet willingly object to what Allah swt command us to do, in a way you are saying that I know better than Allah swt and commit sin. We often focus on what Allah swt command us to do yet rarely do we focus and appreciate on what Allah swt do for us and gives us. The cloth we wear, the money we have, the eyes, ears, a pair of working legs and hands, fingers, good family, husband, children, air to breath and many many many other things. The list will never end to count the things Allah swt gives and will later rewards us even more yet HE ask only a little from us.

Mosque is god's house

Women in menstruation are not allowed to enter the mosque-praying area!!!!!!!
(Read from an article from local newspaper)
I am shocked!!!!!Super shock like electric shock or like being stroke by lightning....
I have entered the praying area like a million times before while in menstruation.
My ustazah would just often reminded us to take good care so that our period does not stain the carpet of the mosque as they must keep it clean to be able to perform the solah/shalat/prayer there and has never forbid us girls during our period from entering the mosque.
So girls just be responsible and make sure that
(1.) Duuuh wear a new sanitary pad
(2.) Sit properly
(3.) Always make sure that no leakage while in the mosque....
If you are having a heavy period then better for you not to visit the mosque, obviously because we should care for the mosque cleanness......
Second shocker>>>>Non-Muslim also cannot enter the mosque-praying area as being categorize as in the same category of women in menstruation
I read many revert/convert stories that their visit to the mosque to watch the performing of prayers often plays a significant role in knowing the religion better. As seeing is believing, this will later open their mind and heart to Islam even more. So we should welcome them and not shoo them away. That is rude. I see no harm for them to visit the mosque except for Masjidil Haram but of course we the Muslim should educate them on the proper etiquette of visiting mosque to our non-Muslim brothers and sisters. It is our responsibility and them being ignorant of the proper manner is definitely our fault.
Whether you are a Muslim or not, we all should maintain the purity of the mosque and do nothing that will jeopardize it. Mosque is after all god's house. We are just Allah's guest and thus act like a guest and not like the host.
When I have enough cash, I will definitely build my own mosque that has superb facilities like hostels, public kitchen, sports facilities, libraries, classes and halls for all to use Muslim or non-Muslim.

Devotion vs Oppression
the issue of hijab has always been heavily debated and most would always criticize it by saying that it is a sign of inequality and how the hijabi are being pressured to wear them. This is the article that made me write this post.
the funny thing is that most comment, opinion and debate came from those that don't even wear it and not even muslim. The comments given are as if they are a seasoned hijabi but in fact they never worn it before.
Acting as if they know better, they try their very best to ban it in school, offices and other places. This is a nuisance to us hijabi when their action create a difficult situation for us that eventually itself is a way of inequality and oppression.
Please open your eyes and heart, the hijab worn will definitely not be forced on you and it is our own choice to wear it so don't act on our behalf to protect and save us from this "delusional oppression" when we don't ask for it. Instead, what we ask is to give us our right to wear it freely without being look down at and being judged.
Why can an individual walk down the street half naked freely without any discrimination and harassment while an individual that is covered can't be treated the same?
Everybody would be very familiar with the dressing of a nun. A hijabi and a nun both wear a covered and modest clothing yet they claimed that a nun way of dressing is a sign of devotion while a hijabi is an oppression. Where is the logic? Wearing hijab is one of the command of god. He creates us thus he knows better on how we should be living and in this case wear.
This poor lady died because of the hatred that have been built in the mentality of the society towards hijab. But her death is not a waste because insyallah she will be very happy in the hereafter. When we die, it is not the end but it is the start of the "real living", "real life". Living in this world is not the real life but the real life is in the hereafter. The world is just a place where our iman is being tested and those who do good will succeed and live happily in heaven that is like a gazillion times better than this world. This world is like a pit stop before we reach our real destination.
Some muslim cover their aurat and some not, which one is better? Only god knows. But what I can say is that when Allah s.w.t. laid out the rules and what not, we should do our very best to follow it as he is our creator. He creates us thus he is way way way wayyyyyy smarter than us so doing otherwise is not wise and are we in a way trying to say that we are smarter than our creator.Naudhubillah.

If Allah granted our doa, means HE loves us,
But when he delays it, he is testing you,
And when he did not grant your doa, he has better plan for you....

To drink or not to drink
what is there to consider?????
It gives you more bad than good, that we can even say that it is no good at all...
If you want antioxidant from red wine, try pomegranate it is much much better...
What im talking about>>>>>Alcoholic drinks of course...
I believe that it is very irresponsible of parents to allow or even encourage(yes, there are parents who do this) their kids to drink...
For the kids, HELLO are you guys brain-dead or something, you should know it by now not to consume it regardless of your religion...I'm not only writing this for religion sake but social well-being...seriously.....
Quoting from The Star it says that" health experts suggest that men consume no more than two alcoholic drinks a day. Drinking more raises the risk for high blood pressure, stroke, violence and injuries and can leads to addiction."
So if you don't care about you health please at least consider other people because you might become an addict and start hurting other people or get drunk and kill someone. If you just don't have any heart at all, you might as well pack your bags and move to other planet/universe....
For the muslim>>>>Allah s.w.t. already tell us about the bad of alcoholic drinks and forbid us of drinking even one drop. So be a good muslim now and don't start drinking if you never have or stop if you drinks. Our creator know better what is best for us.

Treatment towards servant
This could really be applied to treatments towards maid.
According to Sura An Nisaa'/ 4.36,, we should be good to our servants or anyone within our control.
it could also apply on how an employer should treat their employee.
Here it said that we should give them food as what we eat for ourselves and gives them clothing as what we would wear ourselves.
Never hurt them as they are god creation as well.
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said that we should at least forgive the fault of our servants up to 70 times a day.
Definitely our prophet wants us to be patience and be able to forgive other people mistakes as we are not perfect either.

Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Physical
To love him is to know him...
This is taken by the description given by prophet's companion like Ali bin Abu Talib, Anas bin Malik, Abu Jahifah and such.
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. is not too tall yet not too short.
Nor does he is fat or too thin but has a strong built.
He has a broad shoulder, pinkish round face, wide black eyes and long eyelashes.
He is very good looking, nice voice and like to smile a lot.
His laughter is often just a smile.
His hair is not straight yet not curly.
His palm is even softer than silk.

Children and religion
in order to have your child to have a strong ground and belief in the religion, we can definitely introduce them to the religion slowly...
summarize the history of the religion to the child....
ensure the child inquiry on why this religion and not the other is answered....
Introduce them little by little to religion comparison...
Instill in the child that god exist and the world itself is the proof....
once he/she belief that god exist, differences between religions and its history and the need of the religion in life, therefore he/she will be willing to practice the religion and definitely have a strong sense of belief in his/her religion....
It will be a very weak approach if you start otherwise, which is by way of asking him/her to practice first without any understanding on the religion.....both should go together....

Peaceful war in Islam
Seeing the war in Palestine make me wonder and hope for people all around the world to adopt an Islamic way of War.....
Places that have war will still be in peace and harmony if we do it Islamic way.
No kids will be harm
No woman will be killed
No elderly will be harm
No building will be destroyed
No trees will be chopped
No one that do not wish to be involved in the war will be killed or harrassed
No injustice and cruelty done
War Islam way is way way way more civilized than what civilized community know of......

Regardless what You are
Regardless what your religion, race, colour and background we should never fall apart and fight with each other because of our differences.
It should never be the reason to start a war and fight.
It should never be the reason to discriminate.
It should never be the reason to doubt each other.
It should always be the reason to get to know each other better.
It should always be the reason for peace.

what faith is
Faith should be from "our creator".
A complete religion should provide us the believer with the proper ways of leading and living our life regardless the era you are in.
It should gives us guidance because only God knows whats best for us.
Thus here Islam provide you with complete guidance of living your life the best way and provide solution for every situation and problems.
Quran can never be written by human and no one can rewritten it to be as good as it is now. Thus its content can never be changed and cannot be changed.
Allah s.w.t. is the only god.
Islam is the way of life.

God still Loves You
Some people might receive other people advice or criticism well but others might not....
hard to accept what other people say about you, especially if you think that they are so dead wrong.....
But have you taken the time to think it through, whatever was said to you...
Most may have not or just brush the opinion aside...
But I really treasure those comments and advice....
As hurtful as it might get sometimes, I believe there is maybe the tiniest truth in it...
From 100%, maybe 1% of the advice is useful for me to improve myself for the better....
Come on, we cannot be that perfect..its good to constantly improve ourselves...
don't be to proud and think so highly of yourself....
So constructive comments are always welcome....
It is like an advice from God and it shows that God still love You....
P.S.: You should at least go listen to a religious speech once in 40 days so that your heart will always be open and easy to accept any advice and able to improve yourself.

Forgiveness
In Islam, if you made a mistake with a human being you should seek for their forgiveness for he/she you have hurt.
If you have made sin, seek forgiveness from Allah s.w.t. and repent to not repeat the same mistake again.
And it is only fair to correct your mistake and help the person you have hurt.
It is not hard to seek forgiveness from Allah s.w.t.
You do not need any intermediaries. You do not have to search for a person who hold a certificate/degree/master/phd holder for giving forgiveness in sin in order to seek forgiveness.

True Religion
Today, there are so many religion that you can get easily confused and gave up hope on finding the true religion.
So which is the true religion?
A religion where its guidance can be easily changed by human beings according to what we prefer and reject?
A religion where we believe to be a god was a human beings?
A religion that forgiveness of sin can be gotten by a human being?
A religion where we have to suffer in order to receive something good in return?
A religion where you sometimes feels isn't logical?
Everyone need a religion. Need to believe there is god.
Without god you will feel very empty and believe that there is no purpose in life.
We sometimes replace god with human loves but we are very clear that it is not certain and can be easily swayed.
So which is the true religion?
Islam is the true religion. Allah s.w.t. is the only god that creates us all and everything else we see. Al-Quran is the book of Islam where its content provide us with guidance and its contents will never be altered and it is not contradicting. Jesus Christ aka Nabi Isa
First, he is a human being.
Second, he preached god's words. Allah s.w.t. word.
Third, he is not the son of god or god.
Fourth, when he is still alive, whatever he preached was left on deaf ears and not followed.
Fifth, when he died, Nabi Isa was made to be Jesus Christ the son of god who he was not.
Sixth, when he died, everything he preached was all manipulated and altered.
Do yourself a favour, read the bible and the Quran. Do a comparison.
Follow what Nabi Isa aka Jesus really preached which is Islam.

God Exist
Have you ever asked yourself whether god really exist?
Well it is a good question. The answer is an obvious Yes.
How do I know?
All you have to do is to look around you and ask yourself who is powerful enough to be able to build the earth and its content. And not only that, how about the other planets.
Everything is so perfectly in order with air containing oxygen to breath, water that can be drink as well sun for plants to grow and light.
Obviously it is not us that build the whole wide world, it is not man made. We can't even protect and preserve it properly for the future generations.
Believing in god and it existence will a be start to believe in what God guide us to do.
If you ever felt in doubt, no matter what your religion are, all you have to do is to pray hard so that you will be given the guidance and the correct path.

Hair Colouring for Muslim

But do you know that normal hair coloring product are not permitted to be worm by Muslim. Well not that it contain anything not halal(but if it is, it will be one of the issue) but for the fact that It does not penetrate into the hair shaft and will coat our hair instead.
Example of the said hair coloring will be the semi - permanent type.
This will make it impossible for water to pass through the color coated hair for our wudhuk for prayers/ablution or for Muslim "compulsory bath" under certain reason like after period.
Proper ablution needed for our prayer to be accepted and right.
Alternative will be henna.
Reference on this matter.

Islam, tradition and Modern world
I come to learn that a lot of people claim that Islam is not anymore relevant to be apply to this modern world....
This is very sad to hear as this is very different from what I know Islam is.
I'm a very modern girl and live in other part of the world and not where Islam origin.
It is versatile and never out of season or fashion.
What is important is for us to hold our belief strongly regardless of location and time as Islam is very easy to be apply in our daily life.
It is only us that make it hard.
Learn about your religion and you will see that it is a very reasonable religion where it provide you with a lot of space to simplify things.
But what is really important is not to take matters into our own hand. We should always consult with the ulama or imam if we are not clear on certain issues. Don't bend the guidance according to our own preference and only take what is only likable to you.
