UiTM to open 10% to Non-Bumis??????

Erm this might be a sensitive issue for some....
BUT i have NO SUCH INTENTION of poking them with this issue...
but then again i feel a strong urge to spill my 2 centz in this issue n hopefully get u guys out there to give me ur 20 centz....
well i'm a UiTM student as well, ok an "ex" to be exact...
But i'm not able to see eye to eye with the 10,000 or so of my fellow friends that objected to it...
I think why not....

I noticed that there are a lot of international student in UiTM....
aren't they non-bumis????
erm......I dont know either what are their status in UiTM....

Yeah i know the history of UiTM was set up to help malays and they did a pretty GOOD job in it...

So back to why I agree with it...
it is not because i'm the opposition supporter or their DIE-HARD fan but because i love every single MALAYSIAN in malaysia no matter what race you are....
it does not matter...
Love me back ok....
everyone deserve the rights of an education n to benefit from it...
Let the best man win....huhu....

Furthermore we shouldn't be fighting for who gets to go to university n who don't....
All of us should have the opportunity to get an education....
Man, its good for our beloved country if every single one of us is educated...
SO......we should be fighting for MORE public varsities to be open....
Lets collect enough funds to open a few public varsities and bring all the top lecturers from all over the world so that we Malaysian can have a piece of their knowledge to build our country to be the richest and the most wonderful country in the world....
then our varsities will be the top one in the world n foreign students might want to come here n study in our varsities (foreign money inflow to our country is good for our economy)....
its very beneficial for all of us rite????
no war,no pollution, no street demonstration( its not good for our economy) n many other awesome stuff.....
am i rite????

But you know being a true malaysian, I want us all to really UNITE....
no more makan dalam for every single race in Malaysia....
then any obstacle that come, we all will be able to fight it together civilisedly....
thats when every single malaysian out there will really love malaysia n love to be malaysian.....
N when you shower others with love, they will shower us back with love.....

there is no such thing as malay being not competitive enough like other race.....
its an individual thingy, nothing to be associated with what race u r.....

These are few quotes i think that we should really consider....
1) Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you
2) Do unto others as you would have others do unto you
3) Regard your neighbor's gain as your own gain, and your neighbor's loss as your own loss

P.S: But then again i might be wrong.....i'm just a human being maah....
So i've given my 2 centz....what about ur 20 centz....

P.S.S: I have no intention what so ever to make this post to be about politics..it is not, i repeat ( i have reread it over n over again to make sure of it...i dont want to be in trouble you know)......just trying to have a better Malaysia.....

hei..just dropping by and i luurrvveee the statement above by you. in some way i think that your opinion and mine are of the same. we do not want to have all this race thingy. we only want 1; Malaysian. not only just malays or chinese or indians.

Some say the protests are instigated by politically, that most protesters are merely following he-suroh-so-i-ikut-lah.

certainly there are a lot of pressing issues in malaysia such as the effort to ensure eventual establishment of islamic state by PAS and the transition to be one.

change may be good, but lets not have change that may give some people reason to be afraid.

As long as fairness, freedom of worship and non-discriminatory policies are upheld, being a resident in an islamic country could have its advantage also. If Malaysia is to be one, lets make Malaysia the model Islamic country together, muslims and non muslims alike.

hey, i just dropped by and checked on your comment. I like your spirit. Thumbs up.

So were there like non-bumi's who was doing any degree courses? I don't know whether i should choose any degree courses at UITM....A lot of my friends said that it is open for bumi's only and don't burn my upu choices.

Any comments?
